Webex Conferencing Package with EVI-D70

The Webex Conferencing Package is an easy way to completely outfit a conference room for Webex conferencing. All the audio and video hardware needed is included in one package. Video conferencing software is not included. Take advantage of this pre-packaged system and you will find that video conferencing can save time, money, and the personal hassle associated with in-person meetings, training and travel.

The Sony EVI-D70 is our recommended camera for Webex. In comparison to typical webcams, the EVID70 is ideal for use in small to large size conference rooms. The EVI-D70 offers pan-tilt-zoom functionality which allows for complete room coverage and also offers multiple PTZ preset ability. With an 18x optical zoom lens and a faster pan/tilt mechanism, this camera is ideal for video conferencing applications. The S-Video cable included in this package connects the EVI-D70 to the video capture device of your choice: Startech SVID2USB2 (ideal for laptops or wherever connection via USB port is required); Viewcast OSPREY-210 (requires available PCI slot); Viewcast OSPREY-230 (for low-profile computers with PCI slot); and Viewcast OSPREY-240 (for low-profile computers with PCIe slot). The video capture device converts the analog video signal from the camera to a digital video signal for display and transmission on Webex.
The EVI-D70 cmaera can stand alone on a tabletop or any flat surface. For your convenience, we offer an optional wall mount or tripod in this package as well.
This package also includes an optional audio component since the EVI-D70 does not have built-in audio capability. The Phoenix Audio DUET EXECUTIVE speakerphone complements the EVI-D70 with its daisy-chaining capabilities. Two or more speakerphone units can be daisy-chained together for complete room coverage. In comparison, the Revolabs xTag is ideal for conferences in which there is only one speaker. This wearable clip-on microphone is wireless thus eliminating the restriction of being tethered to the computer. The speaker can move freeliy around the room up to 20 meters from the base station. Both the DUET EXECUTIVE and xTag connect to your computer via a USB port.
