Phoenix Audio Quattro BLU (MT 306) - Quattro USB + Bluetooth Interface
The Quattro2-Blu is the newest addition to the family of Quattro2 products. Along with the USB connectivity that comes with all of the Quatto2 products, Quattro2-BLU allows you to use your Bluetooth cell phone to initiate or receive conference calls.
The Quattro2-BLU includes an onboard rechargeable battery so you are able to have an un-tethered call anywhere. Quattro2-BLU has bridging capability allowing you to bridge the Bluetooth connection with the USB connection for a 3 way call. It’s very useful when you are on a USB video call and need to bring one or more participants in who are not able to access a computer. Simply dial them on your cell phone and they can participate on the video call in full duplex audio.
The Quattro2 is the largest of Phoenix Audio's conferencing speakerphones. Its unique audio capabilities and small yet sophisticated design make it an ideal solution for both medium and large conference room settings.
As a successor to the popular Quattro line, the second generation “Quattro2” comes with many new and exciting features and upgrades.
The Quattro2 incorporates the latest in digital signal processing and technology including 4 microphones, 4 speakers, 5 echo cancelers, proprietary Beam Forming Array algorithms, Voice Activity Detectors, De-reverb, Steady State Noise Attenuators, and Dynamic Signal Compression, to name a few.
The hardware and software design of the Quattro2 provide it with an extended rage of audio pickup and broadcasting. This allows the Quattro2 speakerphone to cover larger spaces without the use of satellite microphones or speakers.
Although technologically advanced, the Quattro2 remains a simple and user friendly product. Maintaining Phoenix Audio's plug-and-play philosophy, the Quattro2 does not require expert knowledge in audio setup or any additional installations such as drivers.
The Quattro2 also offers functional daisy chaining capabilities. This unique ability to daisy chain an unlimited number of units assures that no room or hall is too large for the Quattro2. Daisy chained units not only act as active microphones, but also speakers, delivering the full conferencing experience to all participants, regardless of the venue.
All Quattro2s come standard with a USB interface, connecting the devices with a computer. This connection allows the user to use the Quattro2 for recording and VoIP conferencing. The USB connection also provides the device with its only needed source of power. The most basic version of the Quattro2 is the MT-301, equipped only with this USB interface, though the Quattro2 product line offers a range of additional interfaces including telephone, digital phone, and even Bluetooth interfaces. The Quattro2-BLU (MT306) has a USB connection and a Bluetooth interface for use with your Bluetooth enabled cell phone.
The USB connection is designed for Voice or Video over IP (VoIP) or can be used for playback of your computers media player on a PC or MAC computer.
The Bluetooth interface allows you to connect to Bluetooth enabled cell phones via standard pairing. TheQuattro2-BLU is supplied with 2 cables:
USB to USB - to connect with your computer.
Power supply - You can power the Quattro2 from your computer via the USB connection or with the included power supply with international clips.
Freedom – The Quattro2-BLU includes rechargeable batteries that make the unit completely portable so anywhere you have cellular coverage you have the ability to have a conference call.
Bridging - The Quattro2-BLU will bridge the USB and Bluetooth connections together for a three way call. An example would be if you were on a Software video call and you wanted to bring in a participant who might be at the airport and would like to contribute to the meeting. You would call him or her on your cell phone that is paired with the Quattro2-BLU and it would bridge that person’s audio in to the video call. You could also make the call to a bridging service so multiple people would be connected to the video call.
Expandable – All Quattro2s are expandable in an unlimited chain.The first unit in the chain would be the Quattro2 that has the connectivity you want.The 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, etc. unit in the string would be a Quattro2 - Daisy Chain unit (MT304).
Speaker Out - The speaker out jack allows for use with external amplifier and speaker(s).
